Addressing the issues of church leadership, Joel brings his experience and education to bear on practical issues of the unique nature of church leadership.
His personal mission statement is "through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, equip the saints for ministry to the world and each other by intentional and strategic discipleship motivated by love for Christ and His will."
He is a Lead Pastor at First Baptist Church of Merced in Merced, California. He is married and has two children. Joel is scheduled to complete his Doctor of Ministry in May 2019.
