I first met Blake Clark when he was at Dowling Catholic High School as an Ut Fidem participant; today he is a mentor for the program. He joins me to discuss the things in his life that helped him to remain strong in the faith through college, and we can do to help others do the same.

Every page gives great instruction on how to grow in holiness, regardless of one's vocation in life. I will spend the next few weeks exploring some of the great advice found in this book.

Victor Hugo's masterpiece "Les Misérables" is probably best known today by the Broadway adaptation from the 1980s. I finally got around to reading the novel and wanted to share some of the themes and insights Hugo brings to life in this great work.
