Learning the cultural and missional meaning of “seek first the kingdom of God” is the greatest foundational truth any follower of King Jesus could learn.
Matt 6:33 Pursue, go after and seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
In this Podcast we will take time discussing all the different verses and concepts that speak of the Kingdom of God.
Here are a few key verses we will be looking at today:
Matt 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Matt 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
Col 1:13 The Father has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son

Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62) Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you. Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ But whenever you enter a town and they do not receive you, go into its streets and say, ‘Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near.’ (Lk 10:8–11)
And he said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. (Luke 11:2)
