005 Necessary Roughness w/ Denny Carter
The Silver Screen Playbook is proud to welcome its first-ever guest, it's Denny Carter of NBC Sports Edge! Denny brought the heat with the 1991 classic Necessary Roughness. The gang chats about why you shouldn't watch movies on your phones and the CFL before sizing up Texas State University and their Fightin' Armadillos.
After rounding out the cast, Joe wants to know what a hypothetical death penalty would have done for the athletic futures of the panel. Denny puts on the coach's hat to gameplan a must-win situation with the Armadillos. After the half our guest is sourcing some inspiration for the star WR. Andrew needs to know who a 2021 remake would be based on and Joe might have the best answer.

004 The League 1.02 - The Bounce Test
Andrew and Joe are back with the second episode of The League (2009).
In this episode, you'll get the low down from Andrew on a missed opportunity for Pete as he encounters a real-life princess in the form of a royal guest star. Joe has some musings about the practical applications of an Eskimo brothers network. Coming out of halftime Joe has the rulebook when it comes to transactional relationships. And to finish things off Andrew has the fantasy fallout from Jenny's findings on the league message board.
