Season 14, Episode 142 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday episode, Alex Kozora and I start by discussing the 2024 training camp schedule that the Pittsburgh Steelers released earlier in the day. We go over some things that changed this year and most notably the fact that 10 of the practices will start earlier than usual.
New Steelers CB Cameron Sutton met the media on Wednesday, so we discuss what all he had to say and how a lot of his phrasing related to his ongoing legal situation probably could have been better.
Longtime Steelers scout Phil Kreidler has now retired so that story gets a little bit of attention from us on this Friday.
While the Steelers have yet to sign rookie OC Zach Frazier, we discuss why that transaction should happen soon. That discussion leads to us talking about guaranteed contracts and other CBA-related matters.
2024 win totals for the Steelers are briefly discussed in this episode on the heels of Sports Info Solutions releasing theirs on Thursday.
Alex and I check in on some wide receiver news around the NFL and talk a little bit about the San Francisco 49ers still possibly trading WR Deebo Samuel before the start of the 2024 regular season.
Washington Commanders S Jeremy Chinn made it known recently that he turned down an offer to sign with the Steelers back in March, so we address those comments some in this show.
Several Steelers players had interesting comments this week as the team finished their OTA practices, so Alex and I go over several of those.

On this episode of The Depot Dive, Ross McCorkle and Joe Clark dive right into what was a busy news week for the Steelers. Cameron Heyward ended his very brief holdout, so we discuss why he returned and what that means for the negotiation process. Heyward still views himself as a top-5 player at his position, so we weigh in on that claim as well.
We then move into the signing of CB Cameron Sutton as he makes his return to Pittsburgh. How big of a concern are the off-field issues, and what could a suspension look like? We discuss those topics and then move into the impact he can make on the secondary and the defense as a whole as the top slot option.
For the third topic, we discuss Minkah Fitzpatrick saying he wants to get back to "Minkah Ball" and he thinks the defensive additions will allow him to do just that. How many interceptions can we expect from Minkah individually and the team as a whole?
We briefly discuss a report from Dan Graziano that stated Russell Wilson's contract has a no-trade clause.
We wrap up the show with a listener question where we were asked about Keeanu Benton potentially being used on the outside a bit more than in his rookie season.

Season 14, Episode 141 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday episode, Alex Kozora and I start off by discussing the big news from the morning which is the Pittsburgh Steelers signing CB Cameron Sutton to a one-year-contract.
We go over every facet of Sutton's return to Pittsburgh and that includes his potential fit in the defense, the likelihood of him facing NFL discipline, what the court of public opinion will be with him and much more.
In other new news, Steelers DT Cameron Heyward showed up at OTAs on Wednesday and without a new contract in hand. We discuss his reasoning for reporting to OTAs, what the outcome of his contract situation is likely to be and much more.
After dedication most of this show to two Cams, Alex and I discuss the situation the San Francisco 49ers might face when it comes to keeping all of their wide receivers past the 2024 season. We also talk one of the main things that could be an obstacle when it comes to the Steelers possibly trading for 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk that seems have been forgotten these last several weeks.
Alex and I quickly go over the recent 15-year history of June trades in the NFL and what does and does not mean in relation to the Steelers maybe making a trade this month.
The Steelers also recently added two other players to their offseason roster, so Alex and I make sure to recap those transactions during this show.
Alex recently completed a sack study that went live on the site Wednesday morning, so we discuss his findings.
