Memorial Day Madness
At long last the 8 game winning streak ended with a series victory over the Rockies at home. It was the lone bright spot during an otherwise tumultuous two weeks for the Green and Gold. They lost every other series they played, but some of the games ended in tight, dramatic fashion. There is hope yet as perhaps the new guy, Miguel Andujar, can spark a winning month of June.

May Gray
May has been very gray to the A's. Just when things were looking up, fresh off of a 6 game win streak, the wheels have come off. Pitchers are going down with injuries left and right, the defense has forgotten how to make fundamental plays, and to add to the frustration, the offense has finally found life.

Maint-A-ning
The team starts off the week staying hot with a series win over the Marlins before heading to Texas and dropping three of four to the Rangers in a hard-fought series.
