Guess which woman is known for fighting as bravely as men do. Right, she was the Queen of Jhansi. This is the story of "Manikarnika," also known as "Lakshmi Bai," whose birth took place on November 16, 1834, in Varanasi. Her father's name was Moropant Tambe, and her mother's name was Bhagirathi Bai. While her real name was Manikarnika, people affectionately called her Mannu. In 1842, she got married to King Gangadhar Rao Newalkar, and in 1851, she gave birth to a son. Let's listen to her journey from childhood to marriage, only on "Audio Pitara."
