A draft pick hasn't been made, a free agent hasn't been signed and a trade hasn't been facilitated. But we can still take some guesses at how we think the Central Division will fall for next year. The Colorado Avalanche crossed the ocean and made a signing Thursday when they inked Jere Innala from Finland. Innala is likely headed to play with the Colorado Eagles and if nothing else gives the Avalanche a player if / when he is needed.

The Avs also parted ways with their director of amateur scouting, Wade Klippenstein. A little odd with the draft so close? And will it have any impact come draft day? We will see.

The forward position doesn't have the biggest list of names to choose from this off-season. That isn't the case with defensemen. And with the Colorado Avalanche needing to fill spots for their 3rd pairing, they have a laundry list of guys they could bring in.
