The families of those killed and injured in the 1974 Dublin-Monaghan Bombings will be marking the fiftieth anniversary later this month. Aidan Shields, Sharon and Paul Askin, all lost loved ones in the disaster. They're taking part in a new six-part documentary series on RTÉ Radio 1, The Forgotten, starting at 6.30pm on Tuesday May 7th.

He spoke to Brendan about collective traumas experienced by groups and countries, and how individual traumas can be as simple as unmet childhood needs. He also cautions that any suppressed trauma can contribute to poor physical health.
