I have a very fun episode for you guys today because my guest is none other than my Dad - Doychin Karshovski. My dad has been working as a personal trainer in Cincinnati, Ohio for over a decade, but I wanted to have him on the podcast because over the last few years he has started transitioning his business to work remotely and even being able to work with his clients while traveling as a digital nomad.

In this episode, you will hear about what made my dad decide to start working online with his clients, the benefits it has made to his business, and how COVID has impacted and in some ways improved this business.

Like I said this was a really fun episode to record and you will even get a little bit of a background into my transition from a lifeguard to working online and how my parents felt about it.

TRL 075: Stay Healthy and Fit while Traveling as a Digital Nomad with Emil Goliath

Today I am joined by Dr. Emil Hodzovic or otherwise known on the internet as Emil Goliath. Emil has an amazing background, he grew up playing rugby and then turned his athletic focus on bodybuilding all while studying and then working as a doctor in the UK. After several years of working in the UK health care system, he became disillusioned with what he was doing and started instead focusing on more of a "total health" model and began training high-level professionals and location independent entrepreneurs online.

If you are a digital nomad and have struggled with staying fit while traveling you're going to love this episode! Emil and I discussed why most people make staying fit more difficult than it has to be and Emil also shared his strategy for balancing a healthy lifestyle while enjoying all the culinary experiences that new places have to offer. We also talked about health for entrepreneurs and how to make sure that you are performing at you best

TRL 074: Why Base in Bansko, Bulgaria and Become an EU Resident with Uwe Allgauer

I have a super fun interview for you today because my guest is Uwe Allgauer, the co-founder of Coworking Bansko and the founder of Nomad Sailing Retreat and My Start Bulgaria.

I had a ton of fun talking with Uwe about why he decided to base himself from the small mountain town of Bansko in Bulgaria and open up coworking space there with the help of his co-founder Matthias, who by the way has also been on the show way back in episode 22. We also got to talk about some of Uwe's other entrepreneurial pursuits like the Nomad Sailing Retreat, a week-long adventure for Digital Nomads, Entrepreneurs, and location-independent people who help sail a boat in some of the most beautiful parts of Europe, and Uwe's newest company My Start Bulgaria through which he is helping people establish businesses and a residency in Bulgaria in order to acquire some really great benefits like a low level of taxation and access to the European Union. Of course, I can't have another fellow fan on Bulgaria without talking about why Bulgaria is a great place for digital nomads so there is plenty of that conversation as well.

TRL 072: How to Lead During Times of Crisis & Create Effective Contingency Plans with Itamar Marani

TRL 072: How to Lead During Times of Crisis & Create Effective Contingency Plans with Itamar Marani

Today on the podcast I am joined by Itamar Marani, a former member of the Israeli Special Forces, the youngest Air Marshal in Israel's history and on top of all that a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who now focuses on helping entrepreneurs overcome crises and excel through mindset and leadership through his company Marani Consulting.

I really wanted to have Itamar on the podcast because I think COVID has really shown that as leaders and entrepreneurs a lot of us weren't ready to handle something like this. Many of us started out businesses during a time of growth and opportunity and it's the first time that we are facing something like this so it's never been more important to know how to deal with a crisis and high-pressure situations. So that's exactly what Itamar and I discussed on this podcast.

We also got to talk about how to create a strong contingency plan for yourself and your business so if things go wrong you know exactly what to do.

On top of all that Itamar and I got to talk about his background and how he ended up becoming an entrepreneur after serving in the Special Forces and as a security guard for a Russian Oligarch which in my opinion is a fascinating background, it's not every day that you meet someone who has protected a Russian Oligarch.

You guys this was a really cool conversation and I am so happy to have had Itamar on the podcast, I really believe that what Itamar and I discussed on this podcast is not something that is talked about often but really should be because even though it's rare that things can go really wrong when they do it's important to know how to reach.
