It’s quite an interesting concept: those little “pass it on” messages, I mean. Chain letters and people telling you, “post this in five different comments or else you’ll die tonight.” Interesting indeed, but the idea lacks originality. It’s the same story with each one. “Pass it on or die.” People pass it on, and they go on living – a happy ending for everyone. But…what if there was a little twist?

My Mother has been acting strange lately. She's no longer been her bright cheery self. She sits in her chair crouched in a fetal position. If she's ever walking, she's pacing slowly and shifting her weight from side to side. My Dad, my sister, and I have been trying to help her get better, but nothing seems to help. We've been trying to get her to talk about what she's feeling, and all she says is she’s dead.
