Ep. 12: How to manage content requests
In this episode, I dive into a few things I mentioned in last week's Q&A. When it comes to managing content requests, I suggest having an SLA, being okay with saying "no" or "not yet," and putting a system in place for request submissions. Let me know what you think about my suggestions, or if you have any of your own to offer.

Ep. 10: Building relationships with the sales team
More often that not, the relationship between sales and marketing is...rocky. However, they need to rely on each other for success. If you're a new marketer at an org, it's important to put yourself out there and chat with folks on the sales team. Likewise, if you've been somewhere for a while and the sales team avoids your team like the plague, you could be the one to mitigate the issues at hand. I give a couple of tips in this episode.

Ep. 08: The relationship between marketing and interior design
When I'm not doing marketing stuff, I spend some of my time studying interior design. This time last year, I enrolled in a diploma program and have been at it ever since. In looking back through some of my notes, I noticed a lot of parallels between the principles of design and marketing. The principles are: harmony, emphasis, rhythm, balance, and proportion/scale. In this episode, I break down my thoughts further.

Ep. 07: What makes a good story?
For today's episode, I decided to scale back to the general elements of what a good story needs (in my opinion). My top five elements are: plot, structure, characters, climax, and conclusion. Out of these, I believe that structure, climax, and conclusion are the easiest to translate into content marketing work. What are your thoughts? Click to hear mine.
