October 27, 2020: On Oct. 18, ASLMU passed a resolution asking the University to give students Election Day off from school so students don’t have to choose between their education and their political participation. But that’s not all ASLMU has been up to. Our student government has been hard at work to make sure our Lions know what resources are available to them by the University and to end the pattern of low voter turnout among young people in America. Brion Dennis, Chief Programming Officer of ASLMU talks about their leadership with student voting initiatives to mobilize students and make history as we vote in the most important election of our lifetime.
