Save our Public Schools: community wellbeing in Puerto Rico after mass closures
Since 2007, Puerto Rico has closed 44% of it’s schools in processes that do little to incorporate community input. This episode takes a closer look at a potential root cause of this movement, the privatization of education while interviewing a former resident for a narrative understanding of how closed schools are experienced by families and negatively impact communities.
