Hello everyone! Welcome back for another episode of #MDTribe ! This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Khan who is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Board Certified Critical Care Physician. I have been following Dr. Khan through Instagram since my pre-medical days and I was always so inspired by her story. She was a medical school applicant with lower statistics and she had calculated her acceptance chance to be 8%!!!! BUT she persisted and landed an interview and acceptance which led her to becoming the amazing physician and mentor she is today! In this interview, we discuss all things related to her journey as a pre-med, her experience in medical school, applying to residency, fellowship, hobbies, The Female Doc platform she created AND MORE! As a Critical Care Physician, she has served as a front-line worker since the start of the pandemic and shares a hopeful attitude for the release of the COVID19 vaccine.
