In the first of our three-part series, we visit the place where our food originates: the farm. This week’s guest is Germaine Jenkins, co-founder and chief farm officer of Fresh Future Farm in South Carolina. Jenkins is building community through farming and creating an abundance of fresh food in an underserved neighborhood. In 2017, Crowe founded Goodr, a tech-enabled sustainable food company striving to eliminate both hunger and food waste. She shares her personal story as an entrepreneur working toward a world where everyone is treated with dignity and has access to decent food.
