With almost 20 years of experience in the securities field, Leila practices capital markets and securities law. Leila is recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada (2022) as a leading lawyer in corporate law.
One of Leila's goals is to have more women in senior roles, specifically in the Securities Capital Markets Group. In addition, she's involved in training and working with younger lawyers while ensuring their exposure to meaningful work. Leila also works with the McMillan team on raising money for and supporting cancer research. Leila has taught at multiple universities in the last five years, including Windsor, Western, and Queens.
