Inclusion of Individuals with Disabilities is Essential for Business Success with: Lisa Kelly
According to the 2022 Canadian Survey on Disability
(CSD), 27% of Canadians aged 15 years and older (8.0 million people) have one
or more disabilities that limit their daily activities. Employment is important
for individuals with disabilities as it provides economic self-sufficiency, a
platform to use their skills, and increased engagement in community life.
Research by Deloitte has shown that companies with
inclusive cultures are eight times more likely to achieve better business
outcomes, which are closely tied to employee performance and productivity. The
success of businesses depends on the success of their employees, and employee
satisfaction is crucial for productivity and success.
Lisa Kelly is a business manager for the Ontario
Chamber of Commerce. With extensive experience in business development, program
management, training, and workforce development, I am a passionate advocate for
a prosperous Ontario. My role involves reaching out to organizations to promote
the benefits of joining the 'indispensable partner of business' network of over 60,000 businesses, organizations, and associations
across the province. The OCC focuses on advancing policy priorities and
recommendations to the government on policies that affect the province's
businesses and communities. The OCC engages in ongoing discussions across
various policy areas such as health, energy, sustainability, AI, workforce
development, economic reconciliation, and infrastructure policy.
On a more personal note, inclusion is a business
imperative. It contributes to productivity and a healthy culture. Diversity in
our workforce provides unique perspectives and helps us identify and remove
barriers for customers and employees. It drives innovation and makes our
workplaces better.

Dr Garrett Smith: “I Consider Myself a Teacher of Health and Nutrition at Heart”
Over 100 million people in the U.S. have some form
of liver disease. 4.5 million U.S. adults (1.8%) have been diagnosed with liver
disease. However, it is estimated that 80-100 million adults in the U.S. have
fatty liver disease, and many are unaware that they have it, according to the
American Liver Foundation.
Dr. Garrett Smith is a Licensed Naturopathic
Medical Doctor (NMD) in Arizona and is known as the Nutrition Detective. He is
the world's leading expert on vitamin A toxicity and detoxification, as well as
the health paradigm-shifting Toxic Bile Theory. Dr. Smith specializes in
applying science, logic, and practical approaches to topics like detoxification
and nutrition, while making challenging concepts understandable for the
layperson. He hosts the weekly Love Your Liver Livestream on YouTube and is the
creator of the do-it-yourself health recovery Love Your Liver program.
As a child, Dr. Smith was interested in health
topics early on. He started lifting weights at home at age 11, which led him to
an interest in nutrition. Over the years, he has explored nearly all major
health and disease approaches such as candida, toxic metals, carnivore,
vegetarian, functional medicine, herbs, orthomolecular supplements, homeopathy,
and more. Dr. Smith has taken what was valuable from each of those approaches
and left the rest behind. He has personally experienced negative health effects
from many of those approaches. Now, through the Toxic Bile Theory, he is able
to explain to people why certain things made them feel better, why certain
things made them feel worse, and what they should do now. He has personally
addressed his own health issues, such as psoriasis, prostate, urinary issues,
and chronic insomnia, and aims to help others figure out the root causes of
their health issues and find solutions to overcome them.

Release Panic Attacks & Daily Anxiety for Good With: John Graham
When discussing the concept of affliction, which refers to
something that causes pain or suffering. I invite you to consider these two
questions: Do you often feel anxious and feel the need to constantly stay
productive? Do you feel like your life is always in motion? If your emotional
reactions heavily influence your decision-making, you are not alone. According
to the Cleveland Clinic, up to 11% of people in the United States experience a
panic attack every year, and approximately 2% to 3% have panic disorder.
John Graham is a 3-time USA Memory Champion, Grandmaster of
Memory, Entrepreneur, and mentor to high performers. Despite his success, he
had to overcome daily panic attacks and chronic anxiety. Conventional methods
such as therapy, meditation, and supplements didn't work for him, so he
discovered counter-intuitive methods to release suppressed emotions and free
himself from panic and anxiety. He has showcased incredible mental feats on TV
shows around the world and has been an entrepreneur since 2012, experiencing
failure with at least 5 businesses along the way. He is a proud father and
husband to three girls and emphasizes that he does not have a naturally gifted
mind. He read a book called "Moonwalking with Einstein" in 2014,
which sparked his journey of learning mental techniques and competing globally.
