Jewelia is a lovely soul whom I’ve had the chance to get to know recently and her warm inviting energy is what resonated with me after practicing meditation with her the first time on Parliament Hill. Meditation is something that has truly changed my life and I’ve been so interested in understanding why and how it has the power to make me feel uplifted by simply focusing on breath for 5, 10 or 20 minutes. 

Whether you're a skeptic or an advanced meditator, theres something to learn for everyone! 

In this episode, Jewelia delves into the science behind it and the proven effects it has on our nervous system and the brain itself. She is a certified meditation teacher who is passionate about wanting to make others feel held&supported. She kindly shares her learnings from her own practice as well as her teacher training that we can all apply in our every day lives to feel more up-lifted.
