54. MMIW: Aubrey Dameron Crime and Crime Again

On March 9th, 2019, 25 year old Indigenous woman Aubrey Dameron reportedly walked away from her home in Grove, Oklahoma sometime around 3am. Disturbing tips, ever-changing stories, and utter indifference from local law enforcement followed in the wake of her disappearance. As a transgender woman, Aubrey's story was wrought with bigotry and hatred long before she even disappeared. To this day, Aubrey remains missing.
