Bigfoot Eyewitness Radio Vic Cundiff

When tonight’s guest, “Sam,” was growing up, in the hills of West Virginia, his family used to tell him to be careful when he was in the woods because if he wasn’t careful, the Cowcur would get him. You see, “Cowcur” is what locals called a white Sasquatch, in the area, that didn’t exactly have the sweetest disposition. That’s something tonight’s guest found out one day while he was deep in the woods with his grandpa. In fact, Sam’s uncle had a run-in with the Cowcur that frightened him so much, he shot it. After shooting it, he refused to ever go back into the woods. Making matters worse, “Sam” had a neighbor come up to him, one night, and tell him about the time he had been attacked by the Cowcur. His neighbor actually had the scars to prove it too! How dangerous is or was the Cowcur? That’s anyone’s guess. The only thing that can be said about it, definitively, is that if you’re going to go into the woods where “Sam” grew up, you’d be well-served to keep your head on a swivel. You wouldn’t want the Cowcur to get ya!

Tonight’s guest, Bama Murdock, is a Sasquatch researcher who is well known, in the Sasquatch community, for his analytic way of looking at Sasquatch encounters. He’s far from an armchair researcher, also. He takes fairly regular trips to camp, solo, at the Land Between the Lakes, and other Bigfoot hotspots. While he hasn’t had a Sasquatch sighting of his own yet, he does collect sightings eyewitnesses have had. For tonight’s special show, I’ve invited to him to share some sightings he’s collected. Tonight’s guest, Fred Bettencourt, founded Red River Bigfoot Investigations in 2003, and for the first 3 years he and his team members were doing field research, they didn’t have a single Sasquatch-related experience. That all changed in 2006, however. You see, from 2003 until 2006, Fred and his team members followed the practices they saw Sasquatch researchers use on tv. After growing frustrated by their lack of results, they decided to change the way they went about doing things, in the field. Not long after implementing new techniques, they finally had their first experience with a Sasquatch, in 2007. Their experience happened in the infamous Boggy Creek area, of all places. Tonight’s guest, Kimberly Galanti, lives in Western New York, about half-way between Buffalo and Rochester. One of the strangest things about the experiences she’s had is, they all happened on her property. The problem with that is, however, the fact that she doesn’t live in an area where you’d expect Sasquatch to be. She has neighbors, close by, and there aren’t a lot of resources for Sasquatch to exploit, compared to areas where you’d normally expect to find them. Speaking of finding them, when she had one of her encounters, she found herself face to face with a juvenile Sasquatch that was merely 5 feet from her, one night. She didn’t realize he was there until she turned around and hit him in the face with the beam of her flashlight. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to her share the details of that experience and others she’s had. Some of them didn’t involve Sasquatch, by the way. Those encounters involved cryptids she hopes to never have experiences with, again. She, especially, hopes to never have another one of them come into her home, the way one of them did, one night.
