    There Is Only One God

    There Is Only One God

We believe there is only one God. God is not an immanent being, one with the world. He is a transcendent,  infinite, and personal God. He is absolutely independent and the source of everything that exists. He revealed that He is the only God: "I am the first and I am the last; there is no God but me." (Isaiah 44:6). Through the revelation of Jesus, we know that in the inner nature of God there are three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    The Center of Christian Faith

    The Center of Christian Faith

What is God? Our idea of God is based upon God’s revelation of Himself to man in the Old and New Testaments. God revealed himself to mankind gradually, beginning from Adam and culminating in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. It was only when the Son of God took flesh that we received a more profound understanding of who God is: one God in three persons. His Revelation is an act of love. The God we Christians believe in has come incredibly close to us. God came to us as one of us to tell us about this own inner life. Even though Jesus has revealed to us God’s inner life, we must always remember that our knowledge of Him is still in fact defective. We can never fully know God. But that’s  part of the beauty of our Faith. It always remains a mystery we can explore.

    Submission to God

    Submission to God

In this episode, I talk about how Faith allows the believer to have a confident assurance of what we hope for: eternal happiness. In today's world, believers are shunned and ridiculed by modern atheists, who reject everything that cannot be verified empirically. But having Faith in God and His promises is the most reasonable way to live our life; without it, we would always dread the brevity of life.
But Faith requires that we submit our minds and wills to God, for we accept His revelation as true based on His authority, not on any proof that can be accepted merely by human reason.

    Faith and the Good News

    Faith and the Good News

In this episode, I begin by talking about the first declaration of the Nicene Creed: "I believe in one God." What is Faith? It is a gift from God. Faith is both subjective and objective.
