NCAA and the Power 5 Conferences have officially agreed to a deal that will allow universities to pay players
-The NCAA will pay more than $2.7 billion to settle three pending antitrust cases involving past and current athletes over the last 10 years.
-All Division 1 athletes dating back to 2016 are eligible to receive a share as part of the settlement class, but doing so prevents them from EVER suing the NCAA for other potential antitrust violations.
-Have also agreed to a revenue sharing plan, allowing each school to share around $20 million per year with its student athletes, likely starting in the fall of 2025.
-How does this affect schools with more athletes? Will each athlete be forced to take a smaller piece of the pie?
