Ep. 7 Pt. I: How Manual Therapy Started in Canada - A Legendary Career in Physiotherapy Injuries Innovations Insights

    • Sport

Cliff Fowler’s career is a great example of the ripple effect. He is the rock that lands in the water. His innovation, originality, pursuit of knowledge, and passion for teaching has opened the minds of thousands of physiotherapists and medical professionals around the globe. He has been recognized by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association with a Lifetime Membership and is the first recipient (1998) of the David Lamb Memorial Award - The Golden Hands Award. These awards recognize his global lifetime contributions but do not highlight his direct effect on opening the minds and facilitating the passion of thousands of his students and colleagues. He is truly an original thinker and one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. His 53-year career as a practicing clinician has not stopped his thirst to know more as he continues to investigate, question the material, and offer a thoughtful point of view.
In this Podcast (I) Coreshorts Founder, Physiotherapist Greg Bay will take you on a journey back to when Cliff made his decision to become a physiotherapist and how some of the great minds of the past helped to influence his decisions and career path.
