Two-time EuroLeague champion Chris Singleton joins the EurohooPOD with
Antonis Stroggylakis and Cesare Milanti. Straight from Doha, Qatar,
Singleton talks about why he decided to continue his career there and
not in Europe and looks at the basketball development in the country
ahead of the 2027 World Cup.
Singleton opens up about the scare he had with pericarditis last year
and how reports about his condition affected his options that summer. He
praises new Efes coach Tomislav Mijatovic, explains why the 2023 Efes

joins the EurohooPOD with Antonis Stroggylakis and Cesare Milanti. One
of the most elite shooters in EuroLeague history, Carroll, now a
financial advisor, looked back at his career, the decision between Real
and Barca, his most special moments with the Blancos, how he built such a
strong connection with Pablo Laso and becoming the non-Spanish player
with the most appearances with the club.Carroll remembers when
he first heard the name “Luka Doncic” and experiencing the star’s

Former EuroLeague Final Four MVP and current Atlanta Hawks assistant coach Ekpe Udoh joined Antonis Stroggylakis and Cesare Milanti on the latest episode of Eurohoops’ EurohooPOD.
Udoh talked about how he started a coaching career, the impact and influence of Zeljko Obradovic and how he still hears the legendary coach yelling what to do. He also discussed going from Bogdan Bogdanovic’s teammate to now coaching him and whether he’d see himself becoming a head coach on a EuroLeague team one day.
An icon of Fenerbahce Beko, Udoh looked back at winning the 2017 EuroLeague championship with the Turkish club and named his favorite teammates on and off the court. He also touched on joining Virtus Bologna to play alongside a specific point guard, a “depressing” season-ending injury, while naming the EuroLeague players who could’ve moved to the NBA but never did.
