Judges chapter 3 deals with the concepts of the perfect will of God vs the permissive will of God. It also looks at how humanity's own freewill choice works in the middle of all of this as well.

Judges 1-2: Every Generation Needs Revival
In the first two chapters of the book of Judges we see that Israel tried to do the right thing... and failed. The first generation didn't finish the job. The second generation made compromises. The third generation gave themselves fully to pagan idolatry.
People like to say "kids these days"... but what about parents these days? Or what about grandparents these days? Every generation needs an encounter with God and every generation needs a revival of the soul. -

Before we start the book of Judges proper, Pastor Adam takes this week to talk about the difference between Israel and the church.

Intro To Judges: Are We Any Better?
This week we start the book of Judges which picks up almost immediately after Joshua ends. Pastor Adam gives an overview introduction to the book as well as asking the question "why does the modern church look so much like ancient Israel? Isn't the new covenant supposed to be better?"
We gather every Sunday at 10:30am both online and in-person. -
Joshua 24- You Can't Serve God?
Today is our final study in the Book of Joshua. Last week Joshua gave his final message to the people but now he is taking his final action: reminding them of their history and calling them to repentance. This week Pastor Adam looks at Joshua's words to the people of Israel and shows how they the rest of history shown them to be true: that people cannot serve God on their own. We'll talk about how Jesus gave us the better way and how the Holy Spirit saves people completely.

Joshua 23- Final Address
Over 25 years after the book of Joshua begins, Joshua calls the leaders of Israel together to give one final message to the people as he nears the end of his life. This week we will talk about what Joshua thought were the most important things he could say to the people and how they matter to our lives in 2024.
