    We covered how focusing on creating prosperity can lift Africa out of poverty and why market-creating innovations are key for the continent by transforming complicated and expensive products into products that are simple and affordable, increasing access to nonconsumers and providing a strong foundation upon which societies generate prosperity.

    We also discussed the role of the mobile phone in driving the digital revolution happening in Africa and how Fintech innovation should focus on economic inclusion rather than financial inclusion, especially when the majority of the now financially included are not being lifted out of poverty.

    And we ended on a special note by reflecting on the legacy of the great Clayton Christensen and how it impacted Efosa’s personal journey.
