Kamree Price from @ourfamilypassport is an art history professor, academic researcher, and mom to a blended family of six by day and a self-described family travel crazy by night. Episode 124: Deep Dives into United Airlines with Ionna Hernandez
Ionna Hernandez from @travelpointsandviews is originally from Panama and grew up in South Florida, which is where she is currently based. She sailed around the world as a student on Semester at Sea and continues to travel frequently on her own although it hasn't always been easy. Her 20's were spent struggling to pay for school and figuring out her financial journey. In her 30s, she became obsessed with personal finance which led her to the world of points and miles. She has visited nearly 30 countries and 24 states (plus D.C.).
In this episode, Ionna and I discuss how to get free flights on United by leveraging the United Excursionist Perk. You can get into some really deep tricks with these routing rules, especially if you live near a smaller airport and always need positioning flights.

Episode 120: Planning an Around the World Trip with Roshan and Michelle

Roshan learned about the points and miles world in 2018 and Michelle got on board this year after experiencing their RTW honeymoon.
In this episode, we go over their incredible 44-day honeymoon and how you can structure a similar trip by transferring American Express points to ANA.
If you’re looking to get started with American Express points, I’d recommend starting with the Amex Gold card rather than the Amex Platinum. The monthly $20 in dining credits for the Amex Gold card almost exactly offset the annual fee, and it’s a great card to earn 4x everyday with groceries and restaurants, including takeout.
