Episode 43 - The Double
If you're into double agents, well then this is the movie for you! Because boy oh boy are there a lot of them in this flick. Join us as we talk about this 2011 spy thriller. We chat about garroting, what it feels like to have a bunch of strangers swim at you really fast, and accidentally start a rumor about Topher Grace. As is customary, we also talk about Ryan Gosling a bit. As always: spoilers ahoy!

Episode 42 - Amelia
We're back after yet another long break to talk about 2009's deeply disappointing biopic "Amelia." In the mournful shadow of losing an estate sale auction, we pull ourselves together and try to make sense of this unnecessarily boring movie, including Richard Gere's 1920s voice, Ewan McGregor's ventriloquist dummy hair, and Hilary Swank's leather jumpsuit. We also brainstorm a serial killer haunted house business, and bring up "Barbie" as many times as possible. We missed you and Richard! Thanks for listening!

Episode 41 - Hachi: A Dog's Tale
This week we're talking about what is definitely Richard Gere's most adorable movie, and definitely the movie where he puts a tennis ball in his mouth the most. That's right: it's Hachi time! And we're joined by a very special guest: Sarah's husband, Yogi! Our first ever MALE GUEST helps us break down this tender film. Topics include Yogi's own personal connection to the Hachi story, the camera angles that have this dancing on the edge of a horror flick, and a real deep dive into the mystery of what, exactly, became of the real Hachi's earthly remains. Woof woof!

Episode 40 - Brooklyn's Finest
If you're anything like your two hosts, watch this one with a hand over your eyes, because our film this week is a bloody one. We're talking 2009's "Brooklyn's Finest," a cop drama from the director of "Training Day." This episode has everything: an all-star movie cast, lots of ranting about America's corrupt police system, the discovery of an Ethan Hawke pirate fetish, and a confession about one woman's unnatural attachment to a crocheted blanket. Episode 39 - Maybe I Do
This week is a first for us--a Gere movie currently in theaters! We're talking about the new romcom "Maybe I Do" with a killer cast: RTG, Diane Keaton, Susan Sarandon, and William H. Macy, for a start. We recap the movie's wacky shenanigans, puzzle over the crowd in our movie theater, and try to figure out once and for all just how many pieces of fried chicken Diane Keaton and William H. Macy ate. Episode 38 - The Hunting Party
We're back, baby! After an unscheduled, unannounced, unforeseen loooong break we have returned to discussing Richard Gere movies with all the usual chaos and confusion. This week we are talking about 2007's "The Hunting Party," a multi-hyphenate genre film that we, to be perfectly honest, watched four entire months ago. We do our best to remember the plot, fact check ourselves, and then watch and react to the trailer for a brand new, that's right, BRAND NEW Richard Gere film, "Maybe I Do," out in theaters now. Thanks for listening, and as always: sorry for everything. NEW YEAR, NEW GERE!!
