Michael Cochren- from Cochren and Co.

Michael Cochren from Cochren and Co has  been playing music since high school and began touring his songs as a teenager. He asked some mates to join and form a band and were soon opening shows for the Newsboys and Jeremy Camp, among others.
The biggest deal came when he was noticed and signed to Toby Macs label Gotee Records. It's just amazing that Toby  took him under his wing and encouraged him to be the best version of himself. This helped launch Cochren and Co. to a huge audience.
He loves Billy Joel and NSYNC ,all who helped shaped his musical journey. It was a bible study at college that made him realized his faith was actually real. He has a beautiful non guilty relationship with God.
He is a big fan of shows like this and Christian radio for getting his music out there, having seen the impact he’s had as people all over the world sing his songs. Humbled by people clinging to his lyrics during tough times. He wants to encourage you to stay in the word, stay close to the voice of god and engage with people, start a conversation and see where random conversations go.
Super nice guy making music that matters. Spend some time with Cochren and Company on the God rock Show.

    Jordan St. Cyr

    Jordan St. Cyr

Jordan St. Cyr was told someone needs to play guitar in his church youth group as a kid, and as he was randomly handed a guitar he was told It needed to be him.
Influenced by his dad’s music collection The Eagles, Billy Joel and Keith green. He wasn’t the muso of the family, rather his dad was a gifted muso and his brother was in bands so Jordan came to music later.
He originally started by writing his own poems which turned into a love a song writing. He has done the hard yards performing in clubs, coffee houses, churches and youth groups which helped him grow a deep desire for meaningful connection with a listening audience.
His prayer is that his songs would bring comfort and joy to those who hear them. He prays that you would be more hopeful and open to the depths of God’s love. He wasn’t ready for the impact his music would have, but God has allowed him to tell his story which is connecting to the lives and stories of how amazing god is even during hard times.
His passionate about using his platform to promote amazing charities helping the likes of Compassion which is  seeing kids’ lives being saved worldwide.
As he says, you’re in. The love of god is after you, when you walk two steps away, God will walk two steps closer to you. There’s a lot of grey in life and that’s where the beauty is. Today on The God Rock Show we are chatting to Jordan St. Cyr.

    Ryan Ellis

    Ryan Ellis

Before Ryan Ellis started making music he was in the navy, which opened his eyes to the world and saw a whole bunch of things most couldn't even dream of. After his service he was left with nothing but a guitar which he put to good use and played in small coffee shops and basically anywhere who’d have him.
He's quite open about having had a chaotic life before he found Jesus, just trying to make it in this world on his own until he walked in faith and started writing songs that just made sense and spoke of the new life and faith he now has.
God opened doors for him to write for some big names in the biz like Natalie Grant and Matt Redman. Eventually releasing his own music which he saw touch people's lives like he’d never imagined,.
Ryan admits life is the struggle but absolutely worth it.  He says he wants to give people a real opportunity to encounter God. Just him and a guitar singing songs and seeing what happens. Getting people in front of God is all that matters. So if you'd like a virtual hug from Ryan, download his music today, we’re sure it will help you allow the Holy Spirit to open doors, a conversation and possibly a life changing moment.
Today on The God Rock Show we are getting to know Ryan Ellis.

    Ben Fuller

    Ben Fuller

Ben Fuller was a farmer long before he was making music. He owes those days to the work ethic he has today.  A rough upbringing is an understatement, drugs, addiction and just a rough time. At one point he found himself with a gun in his mouth.
Thankfully God had other plans and saved his life and made him feel alive through his singing. After moving to Nashville he found a style of music that he would sing for the rest of his life.
For someone who never showed emotion growing up, it's what he does every day through his music. Now connecting in such a raw, real and authentic way. His story is a  story filled with hope, mercy and grace. These days turning his testimony into songs, that he’s desperate  to share with the world and all who are ready to listen.
Gods landed this new life in his lap, while juggling the daily struggle of a looming addiction that knocks on his door every single day.  But he's working for the Lord and trying to honour him with every thing he does.
He’s struggling with depression and waiting on God to get him through this season. His music will touch you, his lyrics will relate, and he may be able to help you move through your struggle. You have to listen to the music of Ben Fuller, he has a story like no one else, he couldn’t get more real, and his impact will be immense.
Today on The God Rock Show we are spending time with Ben Fuller.

    Riley Clemmons

    Riley Clemmons

Riley Clemmons was discovered as a 13 year old with such immense talent she turned heads at a young age.
Her parents were super supportive and made a point of protecting Riley's heart as she embarked on her musical journey.
Popular is an understatement. Over 200 million music streams and 50 million you tube hits she speaks to her generation and they can’t get enough of her. She’s already been nominated for Female Artist of the Year becoming the youngest nominee ever.
Her music is powerful, and comes from her heart She still keeps and old school journal where she writes her ideas after seeing how shining a light on her thoughts, fears, struggles and even the good times keeps the darkness out.
It's her fans that keep her going, that maybe even one person may feel less alone through listening to her music. She has a direct link to her fans via social media, and will often reply with a direct message from Riley herself. She knew what it was like to be a fan growing up and wants to help feed the spirit of those who are searching and need to know there is a good God in this world.
She’s intentional about having Jesus in every part of  her life, at church, in her break ups or even in her own mental health struggles. Her impact goes as far as a stranger to even her own family who have benefited from her gifts.
Riley Clemmons is pure, has an amazing heart and has her head in the right place to make a massive difference in this world.

    David Leonard

    David Leonard

David Leonard had great success as one half  of the Christian Worship Duo "All Sons and Daughters". Where he teamed up with Leslie Jordan and made some pretty amazing music which ended up scoring them 2 Grammy Nominations.
The band broke up in 2018 and since then David has forged a successful solo career.  He started singing when he was 15. His father was a church pastor and asked his son to lead worship  in front of his congregation.  He says he was part of the family business yet it was his parents who allowed him to be who he was to discover his own relationship with God.
David's always been passionate about performing music that was more authentic, raw, and rooted in the word of God,
His honesty is refreshing, admitting he started playing guitar to impress the girls, not knowing anyone would ever sing his songs in churches all over the world.
His advice Just hang on, he never knows what’s coming next, none of us do, and he’s just prepared to ride the highs and lows.
He accepts seasons change, things don’t stay special forever and its OK to have  a sweet season and then move on, don’t hold on too tight.
His advice, Just keep showing up and always ask the question, what does the congregation need more than what I need right now. David is awesome, genuine, laid back and has a real heart for your faith journey.
Its always shows a lot of courage and determination when one successful group ends and another project begins but David's latest work doesn’t disappoint as he continues where he left off with All Sons & Daughters.
David Leonard is our special guest on the The God Rock Show
