Our caller Butch recalled his childhood trauma, including growing up without a father. June was able to remind him that God is the source of his hope in the past, present, and future. He has been in a relationship for many years, and June encouraged him to consider moving forward with marital counseling in preparation for marriage. 

Katrina's husband has been addicted to marijuana for over 50 years. His drug abuse grieves her and she says he has become aggressive at times. June shares the concept of a crisis intervention, and how Katrina could implement a plan to help her husband. 

Deanne has been rejected by her mother all her life. June Hunt helps her to understand feelings of shame, rejection, and forgiveness. 

Jim feels isolated due to a lifelong condition. June helps him to develop some strategies for finding companionship.  

Caller Jean says that her mother is never emotionally available for her. She feels that her mother is uninterested in her life. June gives some examples of how to have conversations to connect with her mother, including a discussion of love languages.
