Welcome to Jubilee Christian Church Kikuyu, Where We Preach Christ.

    Exercise Thyself (Part 2)

    Exercise Thyself (Part 2)

    1 Timothy 4:8 [KJV]
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Exercise is never easy, or sweet. It involves a lot of pain, sweating and fatigue. But with enough rest, consistency and drive; it will eventually bear fruit. Likewise, spiritual exercise is tideous, painful and oftentimes frustrating; but eventually, it bears fruit! So don't give up on prayer! Don't give up on studying the Word! Push on! Keep on exercising yourself unto godliness. It shall bear fruit.

    Have a great week ahead!

    Exercise Thyself

    Exercise Thyself

    1 Timothy 4:1 [NIV]

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

Athletes are renown globally for being commited and disciplined. They train everyday and follow a strict diet. They spend majority of their lifetime either on the field or in the gym. Their lives are basically founded on the sport they subscribe to.

I have a question: as a Christian, can the same be said about you? Do you exercise spiritually everyday? Are you on a strict diet of spiritual material? Spiritual songs? Spiritual books?......

As you listen to this message, ponder on these things.

    A Study On Prayer

    A Study On Prayer

"Prayer is communing or fellowshiping with your Father."~Minister FrancisWhen we pray, we give God the permission to intervene in our daily lives. Prayer is what connects us to the divine world of God. "It seems that God can so nothing unless men pray."~John WesleyAs men and women of God, we ought to pray. It is our divine responsibility to bring God's will to pass in this world. And the only way we can effectively do that is through prayer. Without prayer, we are blind, lost and carnal. But with prayer, we are strong, bold and wise.

    Unwrapping Your Mind

    Unwrapping Your Mind

What is the never-ending endeavour of every new creation believer?

Every new creation believer has the obligation to renew their mind. How do you renew your mind? By reading the Word of God. Whenever you read the Word of God, your mind begins to turn away from the system of the world and turns to the system of the spirit.

In this sermon, Minister Ken explains how to 'Unwrap your Mind' by beholding the Word of God.

    Identity Crisis

    Identity Crisis

    2 Corinthians 5:17
[17]Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

When you got saved, a change took place in you spirit-man. The old was done away with and you were born anew. Because of this, you should no longer define yourself by who you used to be, but who you are in Christ Jesus. The challenges that we face as Christians is majorly because we do not understand our identity in Christ. Hence, if we can fully understand our identity, then we can begin to live a victorious life im Christ.

    Leadings & Perceptions (Part 3)

    Leadings & Perceptions (Part 3)

    Genesis 26:12 [NKJV]
Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him.

Isaac reaped a hundredfold during famine. Logically, this sounds impossible. In fact, he should've made losses rather than a profit. But from the Word of God, we can learn that God's instructions often do not make sense in the logical world. God will lead you to do things that won't make any sense to you, but all He is interested in is your OBEDIENCE. And if you choose to obey, you have the comfort of knowing that God will have to back His Word and that He will not let you be put to shame.
