On today's show, we're joined by Auburn defensive lineman Jayson Jones as we talk with him about his offseason, and expectations for the Auburn Tigers in 2024? Jones talks about the new defensive coordinator in DJ Durkin and how he can be a difference-maker on the Plains this year as he brings a more aggressive mindset, combined with more depth on defense.

Jones also talks about the Auburn offense and how they improved throughout the spring, with the guys playing more "together" when it comes to the receivers and weapons with the quarterbacks including Payton Thorne. Jones also gives his thoughts on Hugh Freeze as a head coach and what he likes about him.

We also get Jones' thoughts on how the schedule shapes up for Auburn in 2024, and what the mentality is with the team heading into a new season.

On today's show, we discuss the news that Les Miles has filed a lawsuit against LSU and others for his 37 vacated wins that dropped his win percentage below .600, thus making him ineligible for the College Football Hall of Fame. For the record, vacating wins is silly, and does nothing to take away from the memory of the wins. But is Les Miles a Hall Of Famer? And can we make a case for Les Miles and not Mike Leach? Worth noting Miles' vacated wins pertains to a former o-lineman who took improper benefits from a booster, but should Miles' loss of wins over multiple season be the ultimate punishment?

We also get you an SEC recruiting Roundup as several players have committed to the class of 2025 like Mizzou ATH Jamarion Morrow, Auburn safety Eric Winters, Ole Miss DL Andrew Maddox and Alabama DL London Simmons; and a few for the Class of 2026 as Texas adds QB Dia Bell and Florida adds CB Jaelen Waters.

In addition, we run through On3's Top 5 SEC Heisman Hopefuls for 2024, and they all happen to be quarterbacks. But the rankings might be a bit mixed up.

On today's show, we continue our 2024 SEC Player series with LSU wide receiver Kyle Parker as we discuss his decision to choose LSU last year as a four-star prospect as he redshirted behind future first round picks Brian Thomas Jr & Malik Nabers, and his expectations for himself for the upcoming season.

Parker also discusses his decision to stick it out at LSU and not enter the transfer portal, while also competing with Kyren Lacy, Chris Hilton and others for playing time this season. We also get Parker's thoughts on LSU's new starting QB in Garrett Nussmeier, as well as the running back room, and the two new WR additions through the portal in Zavion Thomas and CJ Daniels. On today's show - ESPN has released the approximate start times for the remainder of the 2024 SEC football season, with the first season of all SEC games exclusively on ABC and ESPN channels. All SEC games have been designated either morning kickoffs, afternoon, night, or "Flex" which will be decided between afternoon or night.

Who got the best draw for game times and who drew the short end of the stick? Well Ole Miss coming off an 11-win season gets FOUR early morning games next season - not exactly a reward for a preseason Top 10 team. And LSU lucks out with just one early game, on the road - could the Tigers get all night games in Death Valley this season?

Also, we hit on some SEC recruiting news as Alabama adds OL Mal Waldrep and OL Michael Carroll, Mizzou adds safety Dyllon Williams, Texas picks up CB Caleb Chester, and Auburn scoops up athlete Bruce Deas.

And we are locked in with four SEC teams headed to Omaha for the College World Series, with the schedule set for Florida, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Tennessee. Also, the Vols lose a pitcher to Tommy John, South Carolina makes it official hiring Paul Mainieri, and a few portal moves in SEC baseball.

As we count down the days to the start of the 2024 SEC football season, some teams lost a ton to the Transfer Portal, while others added a ton. But who added better talent than they lost? Who lost more than they brought in? 24/7 Sports lists the SEC's biggest winners and losers of the portal using the average rating of all of the players, and they found that Texas, Mizzou & Tennessee were among the top WINNERS of the portal, while schools like Alabama were LOSERS of the portal.

Also, it's been a busy time for recruiting when it comes to the 2025 class, and we catch you up on the latest commitments as Alabama adds 4-star CB Chuck McDonald, while Georgia adds 4-star DL Christian Garrett. And we give you the latest buzz regarding several other high profile recruits and the SEC schools targeting them.

And it was a busy weekend of Super Regional action around the SEC. Florida and Tennessee were the first SEC schools to punch their tickets to Omaha, with Texas A&M, Kentucky, Florida all making runs as well.

On today's show, we run through the news that OIe Miss transfer RB commit Jacory Croskey-Merritt has flipped his commitment from the Rebels back to Arizona. The former New Mexico running back was expected to join a group that could go RB-by-committee, after losing Quinshon Judkins to the portal this offseason. Instead, the Rebels will need to lean on returnee Ulysses Bentley and transfers Henry Parrish from Miami, Rashas Amos from Miami of Ohio, and Clemson RB Domonique Thomas. Former LSU RB Logan Diggs underwent offseason surgery and is expected to out a while.

Also, we run through the dates and times released by ESPN for the 12-Team College Football Playoff in 2024-25. Georgia picks up a big time linebacker commit, while Auburn adds a cornerback recruit.

And we get the latest update on Auburn RB Brian Battie, and could Bruce Pearl leave Auburn for UConn if Dan Hurley does indeed leave for the Los Angeles Lakers?
