Jalen Whitener, and F-35 pilot trainer, tells us how he has done this throughout his military career and the impact it's made. Jalen made a decision many years ago that his life's priorities were going to be God, family, and country. By allowing God to come first in his life he has been able to mentor and train through his words and actions; showing his students the love of Christ without them even knowing it.

Jon Dils, General Manager of Lon's Restaurant at the Hermosa Inn has personally adopted a habit of beginning each day recognizing the things in his life that he is thankful for. Through this practice, he has been able to create a balance between the long hours required by the restaurant industry and his family. As Drew directs traffic on the tarmac, he also navigates his relationships with coworkers and pilots, seeking ways to better communicate, share his faith, and serve those around him in a high-stakes environment. Most importantly, Drew’s learned strategies for leaving work at work so he can be fully present with his family when he walks through the door at the end of each day.
