We are naturally influenced by the culture we live in both for good and bad. Jesus was always speaking into cultural norms and reorienting them to God’s design. Have you ever wondered what it really means for something to be toxic? That word gets thrown around a lot these days. In this sermon, Pastor Mike speaks to what Jesus has to say about toxic people.

What do I do when my greatest fears are realized and all hope has ceased to exist? When Jesus went to the cross it seemed to his disciples that all hope was lost. Was he actually God? They thought he was going to save them from the Roman empire and rule as their great king. But when all of the hope for change and salvation seemed lost, Jesus flipped the script on what it meant to redeem brokenness. Easter Sunday 2024

Some believe that virtual connections and social media suffice as substitutes for in-person connections. Can we finally embrace the truth that any tool driving us away from genuine human interactions falls short of what we really need? We need healthy, God honoring human touch.
