In this episode, Mikey G kicks off the second season of "Mikey G and Friends" with an interview with his college roommate and one of his best friends, Evan Humphrey. Mikey and Evan relive some of their hilarious college memories, while also talking about Evan's current journey to become a high school teacher and virtual student teaching in a pandemic. Evan also shares what he's learned about selflessness from serving in "thankless jobs" and what he has learned about God in the last few years. 
In the last minutes of the episode, Evan shares about his friend, Shannon who was a beautiful soul that we recently lost. We ask that you pray with us for the family of Shannon Benstead--that God would meet them and comfort them in this season. 

In this episode, Mikey G interviews his friend, Rob Lawless. Native to Philadelphia, after graduating from Penn State and working in the business world, Rob entered into a new endeavor centered around meeting new people. Rob started "Rob's 10K Friends" project in 2015 and since then has met nearly 4,000 people. Rob's goal for this project is to meet 10,000 different people 1:1 for 1 hour each and inspire people into more human connection along the way. 

Today, Mikey welcomes one of his favorite people and one of his best friends, Megan Morris to the show. Megan and Mikey have been friends since their freshmen year of college and have remained close ever since. Megan is a current graduate student at the University of Denver, studying school counseling and brings to us a great deal of wisdom about the psychology world and working with kids who are growing up in traumatic environments. Megan is also an avid traveler who has visited 4 continents and over 20 countries. Megan and Mikey talk about what Megan has learned through all those travels and how she understands service experiences in those environments. 

Today, on "Mikey G and Friends," Mikey interviews one of his good friends and a personal hero, Adrian Greer. Adrian is the Founder and Executive Director of "MYTHIRDPLACE," an organization that seeks to serve and support middle school and high school students in Azusa, California through their teenage years. Adrian is also on the Azusa Unified School Board and is a pastor at Foothill Community Church. Adrian is also a devoted father and husband. Today on "Mikey G and Friends", Mikey interviews his friend, Miguel Wong Rivera. Miguel is the Founder and Executive Director of the "Dream Big Project" which seeks to serve and support students and families in the Norwalk, CA area. Miguel is also a Graduate Student at Azusa Pacific University and a lover of food, traveling and life long learning. Today, Mikey and Miguel talk about the work Miguel does through the Dream Big Project, the importance of making a difference in your local community and what it means to be a healthy and whole individual. 

In today's episode, Mikey G has his friend, Eve Valdez on the podcast. Despite technological difficulties, Eve's extremely inspiring story shines through in this podcast episode. Eve is the Assistant to the Director, the Director of Programs and the Office Receptionist for the Youth and Family Club in Pomona. Originally from Pomona, Eve uses the struggles in her past to inspire people with her story and challenge them to think about the possibilities that God may have for them.
