Unfortunately for Christians, we often forget that our actions and words are the greatest tools we have to show others what it means to be a follower of Christ. We have a reputation of being judgmental and rebellious. In Titus 3, Pastor Matt explains that we are to be submissive to authority and to be a light to the world around us.

When was the last time you passed up the opportunity to share the gospel with someone? Discipleship and leading others to Christ is one of the core reasons for our existence! We exist to glorify God and make Him known. So why do we so often fail? Because we forget the urgency of the situation and the grace that God has given us. In order to live the good life and lead others to Christ, we have to be consistent in our Christian living. It means taking the time to disciple those younger and less mature than you. It means being disciplined and self-controlled. It means working hard for those in authority over us and modeling the good life for others. For those mature in the faith, it means finding younger men and women to disciple and set an example. Age is not an excuse to take it easy. Leading others to Christ is a life-long task.
