The summer months in Montreat bring a lot of activity. Thousands of youth streaming to keynote sessions, vacationers paddling in the lake, children playing at Robert Lake Park. Sunday mornings are a little slower, a little more evenly paced. It’s a time for renewal in the valley, a time for noted ministers from around the country to preach at Montreat’s Summer Worship Series. With a wide diversity of guest preachers, unique artistic touches from the craft center, and wonderful music from the Montreat Summer Singers, it has become a highlight for many in attendance.
