Ezekiel 1-3 - Ezekiel was a prophet among the exiled, in Babylon, 6th cent. B.C. He is 25-30 years old, a contemporary of Jeremiah, and comes from a priestly family. Speaking primarily to exiles, he is relevant to those in Judah. The prophecy is centered around the destruction of Jerusalem (586 B.C).
