Roma and Juventus clashed in a pivotal match for Champions League qualification, resulting in a draw. This theme persisted throughout the match day, with Torino, Monza, Genoa, Milan, Lazio, Napoli, and Udinese also settling for draws.
Further down the ranks, Cagliari and Lecce could only muster a solitary point each, while the match between Empoli and Frosinone ended without any goals.
Atalanta continued their push for Champions League qualification with a victory over Salernitana, while Hellas Verona caused an upset by defeating Fiorentina.
