What kind of heart do you have today? Hardened? Shallow? Over-crowded?

Will you make a new commitment today to cultivate your heart, to become more teachable?

Will you strive to be rooted deeply in the faith?

Will you weed out some of the things that are strangling the Word in your life?

Will you become someone who’s actively spreading the good seeds of God’s Word, everywhere you go?

Friends…that's how you can LIVE LIKE THAT.

Can you think of someone…somewhere…whom you are holding something against? Or…has God reminded you of someone who seems to be holding something against you? What should you do?

If God is convicting you about any of these things, follow His advice and take action.

Go to the one you may have hurt or to the one who hurt you. Get involved in helping others who seem to have an unraveling relationship. Do you know of a broken relationship? A breaking relationship? Will you take the action necessary to sow the seeds of peacemaking?

If you do, you will reap a great and satisfying harvest of righteousness!

The world looks at our lives and they listen to our speech all to determine whether we live our lives to glorify our God as we claim to do.  When they hear you being honest, even when it causes you to suffer loss or pain, they want to see if they can trust you to be honest in that kind of area of your life; then maybe they can trust you to speak truthfully about your faith in Christ.

People will judge our God by the way we act toward others. We must be people of integrity when we deal with all people. When we say we’re going to do something, it’s as good as done!

Would people call you a go-getter or ambitious? Are you on your way to the top? This morning we talk about pride.

Do you hunger for a meek and humble spirit that makes a completely accurate estimate of yourself…neither inflated nor depressed?

Do you yearn for the humility that prompts service?

Do you always look for opportunities to affirm other people, forever seeking to encourage, praise, and honor others?

Do you crave this kind of attitude…the humble attitude that Jesus had?

You CAN have it.

All of this…and more…are included in God’s plan for your life.

Humility…what a beautiful trait!

Christians sometimes stumble and fall, and when this happens, what should the rest of us do? Our human nature wants to say: Make him or her pay. There is no forgiveness for them. But that’s not what Christ calls Christians to do. Instead, we’re to restore our fallen brothers and sisters, we’re to help them back up and get them on their feet again.

This message addresses how Christians should deal with those who have fallen into sin.
