It's no secret that moms play an imperative role in the lives of their kids. On this Mothers Day we not only take the time to appreciate, love on, and publicly thank moms, we also want to point out how the roles of a Mother can influence great faith. In this talk Travis will highlight the relationship between a couple of women and how their faith was impactful for generations.

If you've ever sharpened a knife, or if you've ever seen someone sharpen a knife then you know there is a delicate process that takes place to get the correct result. It takes skill, precision, and the right tools to effectively sharpen a blade. In our life and relationships we often need to be sharpened. In this talk Travis relates the process of sharpening a knife to the necessary practice of being held accountable and holding others accountable.

"God won't put more on you than you can bear.."
Sadly, this phrase has been tossed around in and out of church culture for years and years. Although it's a warm and comforting thought, the statement that God won't put more on you than you can bear is not biblical or true. In this talk Travis uses scripture to debunk the phrase that we have all heard from time to time.

We often avoid things that feel like an inconvenience, but sometimes it's the things that seem like an inconvenience that will push us to grow. In this talk Travis lays out how the early church dealt with growth, appointing leaders, and being inconvenienced to grow the Church. We pray that as you listen to this you will see that the Lord is calling us to growth and discipleship that may seem inconvenient.

There are many things in nature that seem to be constant, and one of those things is the progression of nutrients for early life. For babies the progression is milk, to baby food, to solid food. Even though we don't remember, we all went through this same progression of nutrients to grow "big and strong." In this talk Jarrod Hill, Wilderness Youth Pastor, highlights scripture where Paul and Peter speak to the stages of spiritual maturity.

As Christians and tradition followers gathered to celebrate the nationally recognized holiday of Easter we have an opportunity to see that the occasion of the first Easter was far more exciting than a bunny with an arrangement of colored eggs. In this talk Travis goes through an account of the Easter story through the writings of a first century Christian. A man who had every reason to doubt, but a man who has certain that His Savior was raised from the grave.
