Chatting with me today is the wonderful and supportive event prof, Priya Narain. Priya is an inspiring industry voice with a passion for diversity and inclusion, whilst supporting new talent within our amazing industry. With an incredible following within our industry, Priya is also a co-founder of Event First Steps, an initiative that encourages newcomers to join our wonderful industry. Priya comes from a sale background with skills gained from working both venue and catering side, and actually started her events career later in life when she transitioned from a career in the travel world. It has been an absolute privilege to get to know Priya over the last couple of years and I am so excited to find out what experiences Priya has been through to make her 1up in her events career.

My sixth episode is with the beautiful and talented, Laura Pearce. Laura has worked in the events industry for 10 years and has experience working for hotels, event management agencies, venue representation agencies and is now Head of Sales and Marketing at RSA. Laura is so much fun to be around and I was lucky enough to know her back when she was the 'Queen of Christmas Parties' running the show. It is evident that Laura is extremely passionate about building relationships and creating memorable events, and she will always find a solution when something goes wrong. I am honoured to have interviewed Laura for my podcast and know that you will take some valuable lessons away from her experiences.

I am lucky enough to have interviewed the wonderful Chetan Shah for my fifth episode. Chetan has had an amazing events career working for some of the industries best agencies, and is now the CEO and founder of Micebook.com - the events platform that helps planners to discover, connect and collaborate with suppliers and destinations. I am so excited to share with you how Chetan has 1up in his events career.
