In the construction industry, project coordination has undergone significant transformations due to the availability of new technologies and the import of philosophies, methodologies or practices from other areas of knowledge, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the Lean philosophy. It can be seen that, if implemented simultaneously, there are conceptual and practical interactions between BIM and Lean.

We have already discussed in other episodes the benefits of using BIM as an important aid in coordinating projects, such as better management of phases, reducing costs, increasing transparency, helping to introduce continuous improvement and reducing variability.
