It’s time for a peaceful episode with sunshine and honeybees when we get to meet Beorn in Chapter 7, “Queer Lodgings.” In this chapter, Gandalf is leaving again?? But first, he plans the perfect scheme to introduce Bilbo and the Dwarves to the skin changer Beorn (not a changeling, which we discuss in detail!) where they enjoy the land of honey, bread, and ponies before trekking onto the ominous Mirkwood Forest.
