Today I share a quote from a video game I recently played and it is aimed at getting us to all think truthfully about how much we fight with ourselves internally.  Hopefully this will help you realise where you are unfairly destroying your own self-worth and confidence, and move to a place where you no longer waste energy fighting with your own thoughts.

Hey everyone,  Happy Wednesday!  Just wanted to share a little explanation on a powerful short meditation and quote I recently heard about how even the smallest victory and step towards a larger goal should be celebrated.

Today I am inspired by the words of Epictetus, a Greek Stoic Philosopher, who has a very powerful message about how we cannot control everything in our lives - except for our minds.  The beginning of a new year can be very daunting with unrealistic expectations, and the idea that we need to take charge of too much - in too little time.  Take things slow, control your mind, and learn to accept those things that you cannot control.
