Junk Food Dinner returns to take you on a summer road trip! Pile into our truck as we hit the road, stopping at all the small town drive-in theaters, desert diners, old school roller rinks and sleazy remote truck stops along the way!  Up first, the director of the Garbage Pail Kids movie takes us down to Texas where a bunch of local yokels are partying at the local outdoor cinema and getting into wacky hijinks in Drive-in from 1976. Next, Peanuts creator Charles Shultz casts his real-life daughter as the human love interest of Snoopy's weird brother Spike in the 1988 live-action/animation hybrid TV special It's the Girl in the Red Truck, Charlie Brown!  And finally, a group of truck stop sex workers take in a runaway religious girl, only to find that she's not as innocent as she appears in Candy Land from 2023. All this plus Furiosa and Planet of the Apes chat, the hottest popcorn buckets, Criterion news, hard sci-fi sequels, the hottest upcoming blu-ray releases and so much more!
