008 Survivor Unit Part 1
A survivor unit is a series of lessons designed to test students communication, cooperation, and problem solving skills. Since I love fitness, I infused many lessons with opportunities to get the students hearts pumping.
I will include podcast describing the different challenges that I have used in my survivor unit. I hope you and your students will enjoy this series. email: dadorozco@gmail.com -
007 Workout of the Day
Getting students excited about exercising can be a challenge. One way to increase student buy in is to make your workouts measurable. This allows students to track their progress and compete against students from other classes by comparing their score. If your students have access to technology then I would recommend setting up a padlet link (padlet.com) so that students can post their scores which will allow all students to view their friends scores.

Named after the Roman chariot racing stadium, this activity is simple but pulls the best out of each student. Expect lots of sweaty kids.
