Episode 826: Chasing Normal with Beck Thompson

Episode 826: Chasing Normal with Beck Thompson

Despite her early life being dominated by childhood trauma and parental neglect, you will not hear Beck use the terms ‘survivor’ or ‘thriver’. Trauma would not be the hero nor the legacy of her life. Beck has made it her mission to change the way her childhood trauma  tainted her view of the world.

Her approach to trauma recovery is determined and unabashedly honest, getting real with the girl within to repair and renew her sense of worth and value. Beck is the author of the memoir 'Chasing Normal,' and as a primary teacher, speaker and presenter, she brings a unique perspective inspiring others with her unwavering belief in change and the human capacity for healing.
