Japanese Internment Analysis Podcast - EDCI 675

Hi all! This is my first publication, so be gentle! Today, we're briefly discussing Japanese Internment and the Analysis assignment that I'm giving you in order to more fully understand this topic. After all, the objective for this lesson is as follows:

SWBAT research about Japanese Internment in the United States during World War II through research into individual records in the National Archives and compare them to Jewish Holocaust survivor records from Nazi Concentration Camps. This is important and can be applied to the students because a) some Internment camps lay in Northern California, b) students in 10th Grade English courses will soon read Farewell to Manzanar which discusses these topics, and c) it will allow students to obtain a more holistic knowledge about their nation and its past.

If it seems like a lot, it's because it is, but I promise it will be worth it in the end! Hope you enjoy!
